About Requiem for Justice:
Requiem for Justice (RfJ) is a biannual cultural event organized by Action for Hope (AFH), a Belgian non-profit organization that works to promote and support cultural rights in the Arab region and globally. RfJ was launched under AFH’s international program, Landscapes of Hope, a network of civil society organizations from around the world that work across different sectors in and about the Global South, to advocate for social justice and highlight the role of the arts in achieving social change. This event serves as an advocacy platform to raise awareness of social and cultural issues in the Global South through artistic expressions and discussions. This year will mark the 4th edition of Requiem for Justice taking place in Amsterdam from 19 to 22 September 2024.

Over Requiem for Justice:
Requiem for Justice (RfJ) is een tweejaarlijks cultureel evenement georganiseerd door Action for Hope (AFH), een Belgische non-profitorganisatie die zich inzet voor de bevordering en ondersteuning van culturele rechten in de Arabische regio en wereldwijd. RfJ werd gelanceerd onder AFH’s internationale programma, Landscapes of Hope, een netwerk van maatschappelijke organisaties van over de hele wereld die in en over het mondiale Zuiden werken, om te pleiten voor sociale rechtvaardigheid en de rol van kunst in het bereiken van sociale verandering te benadrukken. Dit evenement dient als een pleitplatform om bewustzijn te creëren over sociale en culturele kwesties in het mondiale Zuiden door middel van artistieke uitdrukkingen en discussies. Dit jaar markeert de 4e editie van Requiem for Justice, die plaatsvindt in Amsterdam van 19 tot 22 september 2024.
