This call is part of the Ahlieh relief initiative, launched by Action for Hope in collaboration with Ettijahat – Independent Culture in October 2024, following the Israeli attacks on Lebanon. Through this initiative, financial support was previously provided to more than 150 individuals and three institutions.
This time, the initiative offers financial support for cultural or artistic projects and activities, with each selected project receiving €5,000. Individuals, associations, and artistic and cultural groups are eligible to apply for this grant.

Lebanon Emergency Support Program
In October 2024, Action for Hope, in cooperation with Ettijahat – Independent Culture, launched “Ahliyeh”, an initiative to provide cultural and humanitarian relief to artists, families, and communities affected by the attacks on Lebanon, which displaced over a million people. Support was extended to 132 former AFH beneficiaries through small grants of €800–€2400 and to three organizations: Ahla Fawda, Women Now, and Endless Medical Advantage, each receiving €10,000, to deliver urgent services for displaced individuals in the Bekaa and Beirut.

Gaza Emergency Response
Action for Hope provided small emergency relief grants to 74 artists from Gaza, averaging €1,000 per artist and €10,000 to eight cultural institutions, including Mayasem for Culture and Arts, Basma for Culture and Arts, and the Future Association, to support their initiatives. These initiatives included psychosocial support sessions for children and women, puppet theater performances, distribution of food parcels and hygiene supplies, and therapeutic recreational activities for people with disabilities. Action for Hope collaborated with Ettijahat – Independent Culture and several cultural organizations inside and outside Palestine for this program.
