Job Announcement: Director, Action for Hope

Action for Hope, a leading arts and human rights non-profit association that works in the Arab region, is seeking a visionary and experienced individual to lead the organization in a period of strategic development. This director will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team, to provide leadership and strategic oversight for the organisation at a critical time of immense change in the region.

The candidate should have a strong record of leading organisations and initiatives in arts and culture, development, education, and/or human rights.  They should be willing to work between Amman, Beirut and Brussels. They must be passionate about social justice and the role of arts and culture in achieving it.  Most of all they should care deeply about human rights and have a vision of how the arts can support the advancement of these rights.
